“If your dog could talk to you, what would he say?”

WAGGLEVIEWS—Dog Owner Interview Questions

These interviews are focused on woman leaders (and some future leaders) in business, the community, or at home. My hope in doing this is to present remarkable and respected women in their community with their beloved pets. Who can resist reading about dogs and what these women do? This is a platform for women to display their talents; their own business, a new book, a deeply loved passion for a charity or their own job. It also shows their love for their dog!

Please read the Waggleview below to find out about this future woman leader and her dog. Woof on!

Why did you choose this dog?

J: Our family liked the temperament of him and he doesn’t shed.

Do you talk to your dog? If so, what do you talk about?

J: Yes I talk to him. I usually talk complete gibberish. I will say the most random things and I feel he understands exactly what I am saying to him.

If your dog could talk to you, what would he say?

J: The same things back to me that I said to him.

If your dog had a job, what would he be doing?

J: I feel like he is in kindergarten his whole life, so I think his would be working in a crayon factory.

What would you like your dog to be if he had a job?

J: A pilot.

Where is your favorite place to go with your dog?

J: The walking trails.

Who or what does your dog find the most interesting?

J: Squirrels.

What is the most annoying thing other dog owners do?

J: There are a few. I don’t like when they crop or dock ears or tails, or when they tie their dogs outside all day. I could go on, but I will stop there.

What does a responsible dog owner mean to you?

J: They spay and neuter their pets. They don’t change any of their features to set to their own standards. They love their dog for who they are because that is what the dog does for them.

Me&Kirby

How does your dog inspire you?

J: He inspires me to live life to its fullest, even if I embarrass myself.

Do you have any “philosophy of dog” you can share?

J: They always have stories to tell and they never judge.

How has your dog changed your life?

J: Oh, in so many ways. I feel with a dog in your life you are always loved, so I always feel that love. He helped me understand skittish dogs at my rescue because I am able to understand his behavior and why he acts the way he does. That, in turn, helps me help other dogs.

When my dog acts up I, just ride his faults out, unless in public then he gets separated.

If my dog could understand me for a day, I would tell him how much I love him and how much I respect him for who he is, even though he is pycho!

I love my dog because he is my best friend!

Thank you Jenna for taking the time to participate in the Waggleview.
